Hey Arthur, glad you like the site! I don’t think bloggers would be against giving free stuff instead of asking money for it. Squeeze pages work fine. But I’d still recommend you build your own site and own platform, its just better in the long run. The way you do it is you create a free post (like this one) with free downloads inside then drive traffic to it. Everyone is happy to link to free info then you can retarget people without too much trouble.
If you want to clear some space out in your house and have a big stack of books you’ve been holding onto for too long, you can make money selling your books and textbooks online. Stores like Half Priced Books and others will give you cents on the dollar for each of your current books while you can check what your book is worth by simply entering the ISBN number on Book Scouter.
There’s nothing wrong with working for a gym. In fact, I think most trainers should at least start working in one. But I think every skilled trainer should look into starting a personal training business online. If you do it right, all of the annoying problems I outlined earlier (1-hour sessions, time management, a huge expense, and the inability to scale your efforts) can all be solved. That, and you can earn more money as an online personal trainer than you can ever make in a gym. Here’s how to become an online personal trainer and launch a thriving business the right way:

Be professional. When you submit a résumé, don’t type it in ALL CAPS and please don’t avoid the caps lock like the plague. Know how to use it without looking incompetent. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar. Of course, there will be exceptions, but even with the exceptions, you must keep it professional. You’re building their view of you.

Seminar presentations  –  When I was 32 years old I was volunteering as a Dale Carnegie teaching assistant.  I had been dramatically helped by the basic Human Relations course and wanted to help others experience the same benefits.  But the program had become quite expensive and I wondered if there were other similar options at a lower price.  With a little research I discover a 10-module program called Adventures in Attitudes.  I became a “facilitator,” purchased their workbooks, and scheduled my first workshop.  The local Chamber of Commerce promoted the workshop to their mailing list and allowed me to use their beautiful facility for the 10 weeks at no cost.  I paid $69 each for the participant workbooks, charged $469 for the program and had 23 people sign up.  I had no list, no platform, and no audience of my own.  As you can see, that first workshop netted me $9200 and I repeated that process many times before I ever created any materials of my own.  We now have the new 48 Days to the Work You Love Seminar available for you to replicate exactly what I did.

–->It’s a place for you to send clients you might not want to work with. If you are private coaching you may run across people who aren’t a good fit for your coaching services or personality, so having a referral partner on hand to send them to is a wonderful win. They get a great coach, you don’t work with someone who isn’t a fit, the other coach gets a new client and you get paid for your trouble. Everyone wins!

Imagine there was a done for you system that would let you earn $1,000 commissions, so you only needed 10 sales to achieve your 10k/mo goal. Imagine there was a system that would give you the coaching and help you need to so you won’t have to Google or research for answers, imagine there was a system that would give you done for you funnels and the training you need to earn those massive commissions online…

Software is important, but not imperative. You can still use them, but the days of Excel spreadsheets are over. Good software automates almost every aspect of your business. I’m an unabashed fan of Trainerize (and have since become an advisor). If you want to give the program a try, use this link and you’ll also get a free Ebook from me on getting your first few clients.

- Having a job is a great way to start making some cash flow, but you should use it to actually start a business. A job isn’t scalable. You only have 24 hours in a day, and you're not even going to work more than 12 hours in a day. Having access to the internet is all you need, you can see that attention is now the new way to becoming successful. The more exposure your brand gets (whether that is from posts, social media, websites, etc) the more opportunities you have to monetize off your traffic. When you have a lot of people's attention, and you create a product, you’re likely to make a sale. THIS IS SCALABLE. Anything you put out on the internet compounds, continually getting more and more traffic that gives you a chance to make a sale.

– Project Payday is one of those sites that has testimonials of people who have earned thousands of dollars by getting paid to get trial offers. I’m not saying you’ll earn thousands, but it is legit and you can earn some extra cash. They assume that by paying you to do a free trial, you’ll either like the product and purchase it, or forget to cancel the trial and get charged for it. If you can keep track and cancel before you get charged (if you don’t want the product), then this is a great site for making some money.

Let’s say that you promote a CB product. I click on your link, I decide to order it and boom! I see that it’s a CB product. Irrespective of your link cloaking, irrespective of any of your actions I still can see that it’s a CB product. Then it’s very easy to find out what the standard affiliate link is, add my CB username, click on my own link, order, and get a “commission”. You get nothing. How is that? Unfair, right?
