THOSE are the people that I want to work with – the ones that are committed and make things happen. They find a way. They don't have excuses. They take massive action. They are COMMITTED. And guess what? I have many clients that don't have money, work full-time jobs (or go to college) and don't have the time, have their families, etc, etc… but they find a way to hire me and take action, because they are committed and willing to do whatever it takes. These are people that get results working with me.
–>They require a LONG lead time. If you want to sell a retreat and have a hope of filling it, you’ll need to start selling it months in advance and allow for at least two big sales pushes, one at the beginning of your sales cycle, and one near the end. You’ve seen October conferences that start selling tickets in March, right? This is why. And those months of selling can be exhausting. Some people can commit early, but some can’t till the last minute, you’ll have to account for both. While you are doing that, it takes energy from the rest of your business.
There are a lot of ways to do this, but I’m most experienced with re-skinning apps. Last year I was able to make over $15,000 working just 1 hour per week. If you have 4–5 hours daily to work on this, you could definitely make big money! The general idea of re-skinning apps is buying/creating a template, changing the graphics of the template, and then selling the app. The best part is that you don’t even need to know how to code!
Next, you’ll need the right tools. You can be as complicated or simple as you want depending on your comfort with audio equipment, but at the minimum you’ll want a microphone and software for recording your voice. Companies like Behringer, Blue, Focusrite, and others sell studio-quality plug-and-play podcast setups that can get you recording today.
Become the expert. The simple answer of how to get personal training clients is to make sure everybody knows that you’re a personal trainer. Once you set up your business, simply start posting workout tips on your Facebook, send an email to everybody you have ever met, and ask your parents to message their family and friends. Be sure to communicate the benefits of online training to your clients when reaching out to entice them. Here’s a list of a few of the benefits of online personal training to the client:
–>It’s a great way to get started. Look, when you are a new coach you are often figuring things out as you go. You have to do in order to learn! And working with folks one-on-one allows for a lot of flexibility along the way – you can tweak your system or your services as you go, without having to commit to a long haul with a lot of people. Private coaching also allows you to really get your hands on people and enact big change, which also builds great case studies and testimonials!
I was wondering if anyone here could direct me towards websites that have individuals who are well informed on the subject of making money online and the various ways to do it. I recently came across websites called kasottyblog.com and thatjoblessguy.com and was wondering if there are more sites like this on the internet like this where the website owners give out methods of how to make money online that they actually show you. If these websites can help someone your welcome but I am looking for more sites like this as I was searching "make money online mentoring" when finding these sites on google after hours of searching. The first step is really just putting yourself out there with a blog, videos or a podcast so that you can get found. Publish high quality content and give it away for free. This will help you attract visitors and a following. If your stuff is good, people will WANT to work with you and hire you as their coach. You can also do this through publishing Kindle books or selling your own information products, as people will see you as an authority and expert and will be more likely to hire you.
Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission. Know that I only recommend products, tools and learning resources I've personally used and believe are genuinely helpful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to purchase them. Most of all, I would never advocate for buying something that you can't afford or that you're not yet ready to implement.
–->It’s a place for you to send clients you might not want to work with. If you are private coaching you may run across people who aren’t a good fit for your coaching services or personality, so having a referral partner on hand to send them to is a wonderful win. They get a great coach, you don’t work with someone who isn’t a fit, the other coach gets a new client and you get paid for your trouble. Everyone wins!
If you love to travel and find yourself randomly searching for airfare sales or browsing Lonely Planet, why not carve out a niche for yourself as a private travel agent? My friend, Mark Jackson did just that, making extra money online with his travel consulting side business. Start with word of mouth recommendations from friends who know they can count on you for the cheapest flights, and then move on and create a Facebook or LinkedIn group to invite people who want to stay on top of the latest deals. Eventually you could spin this into a full-time consultancy teaching people how to make their dream trip a reality.
Direct linking: This means you’ll send people directly to the vendor’s sales page. This used to work well and still does in some rare cases but most of the time, it’s not recommended to go down that route. You need to “warm up” your visitor first before sending them to the offer page. Unfortunately, because this is the lazy man’s route, a lot of people choose it.
