Starting a podcast, like making a YouTube channel or blog, comes down to telling interesting stories and building an engaged audience. I’m probably sounding like a broken record by now, but you need a niche that you’re interested in and there’s already a demand for. Come up with a list of topics you’d like to talk about and then search iTunes charts, Google Trends and other podcast research sites like cast.market to see what’s currently out there and popular.

The biggest “a-ha” realization for new coaches has been that their job is *not* to tell the client exactly what to do. It’s a common misconception that the coach is being hired to be the boss and give directions. Coaching is much more successful as a collaboration, with the coach as a strong listener. Appreciative inquiry is also key — for example, “I see this pattern. How can we address this?” Often, the client knows the best answer and just needs guidance and support to find it.
THOSE are the people that I want to work with – the ones that are committed and make things happen.  They find a way.  They don't have excuses.  They take massive action.  They are COMMITTED.  And guess what?  I have many clients that don't have money, work full-time jobs (or go to college) and don't have the time, have their families, etc, etc… but they find a way to hire me and take action, because they are committed and willing to do whatever it takes.  These are people that get results working with me.
