If you are looking to make money online, you might feel overwhelmed right now, or even discouraged. After all, if you don't have any marketable skills or a college degree, you might be thinking that no one will hire you. However, this is not true. If you use the following guide, you can make money online in four different ways, none of which require you to have special skills, a degree, or more than $20 to get started. (FEAR NOT. None of them involve affiliate marketing.)
Thanks for the tip on gravity numbers. I knew that gravity was a way to tell how popular a product is and if it was selling or not, but I didn’t know what type of numbers we should be looking for. My initial products chosen were certainly not chosen on the basis of gravity because I had no idea what it is! CB can definitely be a place to make some money, but one must be very careful to choose a good product. A new marketer might not always be able to tell the difference.
Teaching and tutoring English as a second language is a great way to make money online, not to mention open some doors for you to travel the world if you'd like. While full ESL (English as a Second Language) accreditation is recommended, as long as you’re a native speaker and have the ability to teach, there are people in countries such as Hong Kong or the UAE who are willing to pay upwards of $25/hr for you to tutor them English via Skype. Check out Indeed, Learn4Good and Remote.co for remote english tutoring jobs or sign up on a specialized site like VerbalPlanet or Chegg Tutors.

- To brief it to you without overwhelming you with information, what I do is source products from china in bulk (DIRT CHEAP) lets say I buy 200 units for the price of $1, and I send it to Amazon's fulfillment centers and I list those products for $15, I make a $10 Profit Per Unit I sell. I have a lot of days where I make $150 a day, I sometimes wake up in the morning with 50$ profit, etc. This is by far right now the best trend, I've searched a lot of different ways of making money, while most of them are bullshit, cash apps, etc. Affiliate Marketing works, but like I said before, you need traffic and that's rough to get for an average person.
–>They require a LONG lead time. If you want to sell a retreat and have a hope of filling it, you’ll need to start selling it months in advance and allow for at least two big sales pushes, one at the beginning of your sales cycle, and one near the end. You’ve seen October conferences that start selling tickets in March, right? This is why. And those months of selling can be exhausting. Some people can commit early, but some can’t till the last minute, you’ll have to account for both. While you are doing that, it takes energy from the rest of your business.

Just like to add 1 additional “CON” to the list of Pros and Cons of Clickbank. Their rule on paying out the commissions earned. You must have 5 sales all from different credit card accounts before they will pay you what you have earned. That flat out sucks!. Affiliates work hard to get even 1 sale and because of Clickbanks rule, lose that money over time if they cannot get another 4 sales, the commission keeps reducing steadily if 4 more sales are not forthcoming. Clickbank has got to change that rule, which many feel is illegal!. A sale, is a sale, and the commission must be paid out. Basically, Clickbank is “Ripping-Off” affiliate marketers.

22. Advertising – This is definitely the most old-school way of earning money with a blog. It’s also starting to become the least common way. You can sell advertising spots directly on your site or you can sign up with a company like Google AdSense or Media.net. Either way, you won’t see a whole lot of money from ads until your views are well into the thousands each day.
You know those top-down cooking or craft videos you just can’t seem to get away from these days? There are people out there making a living from them. 78% of B2C companies depend on user-generated content, like those videos, for their marketing campaigns. You can sign up as a creator on a site like Darby Smart and potentially work with brands like Nordstrom, Mattel, and BarkBox. Or, use them to build your YouTube following and monetize through ads and views.
If you really wanted to make the list even more exhaustive, you could also discuss the various biological money-making methods (e.g., sperm donation, egg donation, etc.) and/or go into the more technical (e.g., hosting websites on one’s own server, building computers for others, etc.). Also, you could potentially explore those well-known money-making ventures, such as trading on the stock market, which are seemingly difficult to enter into by their apparent complexity by listing various online instructional tools which assist novices looking to get involved in them (e.g., Investopedia’s online simulator to prepare for buying/selling stocks). Sometimes those methods of making money which appear to be the most difficult are, in fact, relatively simple once you understand the underlying conceptual framework – many people just don’t realize this.
Every year, hundreds of millions of documents are notarized in the United States: wills, mortgages, citizenship forms, handgun applications. While for decades, this has all been done in person, there is a budding crop of sites that allow notaries to take their services online. If you’re already a notary, you can sell your services online. Or, if you want to get started, check out the National Notary’s checklist for becoming a certified notary.
Google's getting strict in which, once they get to your site, they're check your whole funnel because they don't want you to promote shitty authors because it makes them look bad, because it gives users a bad experience for using Google, but in general I haven't found Google to go as far as go all the way to checkout after they buy a product it's very rare, so you could just send them directly to the ClickBank product, plus, they converted and if they don't buy, you have their email address, because they bought the tripwire offer for you and not all of them will buy the other offer.
If you've developed valuable skill sets or picked up certifications within your industry over the years, offering your consulting services to local business owners can be a lucrative way to make money online. Whether you're an expert marketer, business strategist, or manufacturing aficionado, there's likely a local business owner who's willing to pay you to help them solve an issue with their company. Start with this 18-step checklist to becoming a local business consultant from Karyn Greenstreet and then use my guide to crafting an effective cold email to convince them to hire you.
I, too, have always looked at ClickBank as a secondary and even tertiary monetization source. But it can be a great sources of revenue. I linked one of my articles to a related product on CB, and without really doing promotion or anything unusual, I get a few sales a week. Mind you, the keyword(s) for the post aren’t that huge either. So, even though the traffic not huge on that post, it still manages to get some sales.

I’m going to talk more about downsides of this type of business model and what Clickbank is missing in general. Clickbank is full of confused affiliate marketers who aren’t making much money at all so don’t think everyone is making money with Clickbank. In an article published by Clickbank itself here, they mention that only 3% on Clickbank actually make a commission, so you get the idea.

The Internet is too big to explore alone. So you take help of search engine, but they have their own limitations. You can create directory websites which provide lists of products or websites in a particular segment. For example, you can create a directory of free WordPress themes. Create a list of websites and sources related to a particular niche. You can sell ad space to advertisers directly or using networks such as AdSense and BuySellAds.

Affiliate commissions  –  I wanted to attend conferences to help me learn and grow.  Many of those conferences offered an affiliate fee.  One of the first I attended was Mark Victor Hansen’s MegaBook University.  The price was $995 and I got a 30% affiliate fee.  I promoted it to my little group of friends, told them I’d buy them dinner, and had 12 people join me there.  I paid full price for myself, half price for my son and had flights and hotel expenses = $2500 and bought dinner for those 12 folks for another $300.  So I invested $2800.  But a week after I got home I got my affiliate check (33% of    the 12 attendees = $3582)  Deduct my total expenses and I got to attend the conference for free and netted a $782 profit.  I’ve done that more times than I can possibly remember with conferences, courses and programs.  We now conduct our Coaching with Excellence conferences and have affiliates who do the same as I did.
–>They take a lot of time and effort to create. Even if you are a fast writer, it takes time to map out your book, write it, edit it, format it, and research the best way to launch it (Amazon? Through your website? Traditional routes?).  The same is true of a DIY course. You need to create polished content, potentially including video, slides, transcripts, audio and a way to access all of the above. You’ll probably need to hire help – like a designer or developer – just to get you going, and it’ll take plenty of your time to create all of this wonderful content.
First, look at the products you already use. And remember, by promoting a product, you’re putting your own reputation on the line. Say your site, email campaign, or social media platform caters to new entrepreneurs – it’s a given that these entrepreneurs all need websites. Products related to webhosting or theme development are both great candidates and can be big earners, especially if you communicate your positive experiences. In comparison, trying to sell a weight-loss program on your business site would probably be a real turnoff for your audience, as it would be out of context.
The biggest “a-ha” realization for new coaches has been that their job is *not* to tell the client exactly what to do. It’s a common misconception that the coach is being hired to be the boss and give directions. Coaching is much more successful as a collaboration, with the coach as a strong listener. Appreciative inquiry is also key — for example, “I see this pattern. How can we address this?” Often, the client knows the best answer and just needs guidance and support to find it.
One of the best things about working online is that you get to choose your own work schedule. You can work at night, during the day or even weekends. It is really up to you. This means that you will get to spend more time with your family, go for vacations, plan holiday activities, tour the world and much more. In addition, you get to live anywhere around the globe without the worry of job transfers.

I got my first taste of coaching when I was 20 years old.  I was heavily involved in attempting to improve my self-confidence, social skills and dating life.  I had a friend at the time that was starting a dating coaching company in Vancouver, BC and I originally started helping him out with that.  I had made such a transformation in myself in every way, that I was asked to help out with coaching.  I had the opportunity to travel with this person around Canada and the U.S., all expenses paid for, just to help him with his coaching clients.

You have knowledge. You have experience. You want to get into the online coaching/teaching business, because you know that you can help someone reach the goals you’ve reached yourself. You don’t need to be a leading expert in the field. You definitely don’t need to be a “guru.” You’ve been a little farther down a certain road than most, and that’s worth money. So how do you get started?
Build your audience on a course community: If you’re just getting started building an audience for yourself and want to leverage communities already actively looking for content you can choose to host and sell your online course on a site like Skillshare or Udemy. These are easy, cost-effective ways to build an audience and test your niche to see if there’s demand for it.

Making money consulting or as an online coach may be one of the first ways you consider to create income from your blog or it may take a while to build up to it. It’s one of the higher-paying online income sources but takes time to build the credibility and experience to be successful. Whichever path you decide to take, don’t count out the value of your experience and don’t neglect this great way to make money online.
Now, it’s time to start creating and uploading content. Make sure you’re using a high-enough quality camera (most smartphones will work but I’d suggest at least having a tripod so your footage isn’t shaky), but don’t worry about being perfect at first. The beauty of YouTube is that you can continue to test out different content and styles as you find what works for you. Instead, stick to a regular schedule to build up your subscriber base.

18. CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.

One of the cool things about Google AdSense is that it's so easy to get set up. If you have a blog or website, you can sign up for a free Google AdSense Account. From there, Google will give you a unique code that you will paste onto your website. Google takes it from there, tracking your page views, traffic, and earnings on your behalf. There is no upkeep or maintenance to get this thing going, which makes it a no-brainer if you have a website already.
Write. Quality writing is always in demand. If you are a good writer and have experience blogging, copywriting, or editing, you could become a freelance writer. Assemble a portfolio of your writing (or update the one you have) and start looking for work. A great place to start is within your existing networks. You could also look for opportunities to write newsletters, blogs, or advertisements for local clients.
Outbrain is not necessarily the network of choice, it was just an example. As for tracking the ROI usually you’ll want to track campaigns in Google analytics and track clicks on affiliate links as event and average value/email or you’ll want to duplicate the post and run paid traffic to the duplicate so you know exactly what the conversions are as you can put them in separate email lists etc too.
Plus, you can use another free app called Paribus. This price-tracking app negotiates a refund if something you buy goes on sale. Want an example? Let’s say you buy a tv, and it goes on sale three days later. You can get a price protection refund. Using Paribus is an easy way to monitor shopping purchases. Let’s face it, most of us don’t know about these claims.
If you just had a website up with your picture that says “I'm a coach, hire me!”, people will say “Who cares?”  People are much more likely to hire and work with someone if they've already provided value to them in advance (through your content) and they've established a relationship with you (through your content).  If you just have a coaching website that offers coaching – nobody cares because nobody knows anything about you, haven't received any value from you, nor do they have any relationship with you whatsoever.
–>There’s a lot of flexibility in group coaching. I only offer programs at certain times of the year. What’s nice about that is that I can take downtime in between and not be beholden to clients, and I can also deliver the programs from anywhere, as long as I keep timezones in mind when I plan my travels :). Tools like Facebook have made group coaching communities instantly accessible at any time, so I can have folks all over the world participate in my group programs and get feedback when they need it.

Bula Miliana. You’re right, a lot of online income opportunities only work in some countries. Paid surveys etc. But I believe you can still access sites like Upwork and the like? If so, starting a service based business could be a good way to start an online business. I’m not sure what your skills are but if you have administration skills or know how to use WordPress, you could become a virtual assistant. The pay rates vary (but I think a beginner virtual assistant with good skills would earn at least $5/USD per hour and I know some VAs who earn over $25USD/hr when they are experienced and have a good client base).

Like talking to people and helping walk them through problems? You can bring in extra income as a contract customer support superstar for companies all over the world. Due to the 24/7 nature of online businesses, companies are looking for people in different time zones to help deal with issues that their users are having. Better yet, if you have experience in service or retail you’ll be perfectly suited. Check out indeed or the other remote job boards I listed earlier to find opportunities.
I have been making money online for over a year now. Not in the big time yet, still consider myself to be learning my craft. I was doing it really ineffectively (using adsense and amazon along with a t shirt affiliate deal) and driving traffic almost exclusively though facebook. Probably averaged about $800 a month over the last year, mostly because Christmas brought an absolute ton of t shirt sales)
nice article on clickbank i however make a lot more money with cb its not hard to make money if you choose a good product to promote i like to use blogger for my content make it look professional and dont try to over sell things add title, description & keyword meta tags and let google do the rest i also use facebook which has over 8 billion users 😉

The mistake that I made when I was a dating coach was that I was constantly hustling to get clients.  Every month we'd need to get enough clients to fill our seminars with and to be able to work with 1-on-1 to cover our monthly expenses.  It was very stressful and challenging, as you're always exchanging your time to get more and more people out.  We were never really getting ahead, but just working our butts off just to maintain how well do did the previous month.

Hey Arthur, glad you like the site! I don’t think bloggers would be against giving free stuff instead of asking money for it. Squeeze pages work fine. But I’d still recommend you build your own site and own platform, its just better in the long run. The way you do it is you create a free post (like this one) with free downloads inside then drive traffic to it. Everyone is happy to link to free info then you can retarget people without too much trouble.
